Billing Reimbursement Specialist

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Billing Reimbursement Specialist II who is motivated to work in a dynamic, multi-tasking environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Reconcile medical claims to collect revenue and reduce bad debt
• Manage appeals and denials based on payer guidelines and present arguments for medical necessity
• Investigate denied services and resolve billing inquiries from patients or their representatives

Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma at minimum
• 2 years of experience in accounts receivable, billing, or healthcare, preferably in laboratory insurance billing
• Working knowledge of coding systems such as CPT, ICD-10, and HCPCS
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and medical billing software
