Billing Resolution Representative

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Billing & Posting Resolution Representative.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough follow-up on aged accounts to ensure timely resolution and payment
• Review and work on insurance denials by posting denial codes and initiating necessary follow-up or appeals
• Process rejections by correcting billing errors and resubmitting claims to third-party insurance carriers

Required Qualifications

• 3+ years of hospital payment posting experience
• Experience with denial posting and resolution, including CAS code interpretation
• Familiarity with Medicaid billing and payer-specific guidelines
• Working knowledge of CPT and ICD-10 coding
• Strong familiarity with medical terminology
