Staff Accountant

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Staff Accountant to join their Finance team.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end Accounts Payable (AP) lifecycle including invoice intake, coding, and payment execution
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve invoice discrepancies and ensure contract alignment
• Analyze AP aging reports, drive resolution of overdue items, and assist with monthly reconciliation

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• 1-2 years of hands-on accounting experience, preferably focused on Accounts Payable
• Solid understanding of basic accounting principles (GAAP)
• Familiarity with intercompany transactions and expense allocation concepts
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel; experience with accounting software is a plus
