Accountant Specialist

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Specialist, Accountant - Shared Financial Services.

Key Responsibilities

• Support chapters in accounting functions for accurate and timely processing
• Prepare bank and balance sheet reconciliations, and record journal entries for monthly financial activity
• Assist with annual audit preparation and respond to inquiries from chapter staff

Required Qualifications, Training, and Education

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required
• Minimal experience in accounting or financial reporting is acceptable; over one year is helpful
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel
• Experience with Salesforce and NetSuite is beneficial
• Working knowledge of nonprofit organizations is strongly preferred
