Job Summary
A company is looking for a Specialist, Accountant - Shared Financial Services.
Key Responsibilities
- Support chapters in accounting functions for accurate and timely processing
- Prepare bank and balance sheet reconciliations, and record journal entries for monthly financial activity
- Assist with annual audit preparation and respond to inquiries from chapter staff
Required Qualifications, Training, and Education
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required
- Minimal experience in accounting or financial reporting is acceptable; over one year is helpful
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel
- Experience with Salesforce and NetSuite is beneficial
- Working knowledge of nonprofit organizations is strongly preferred
