CPA Controller

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Controller/Assistant Controller to lead its accounting function and ensure financial integrity during its global transition.

Key Responsibilities

• Own the monthly, quarterly, and annual close process in partnership with an external accounting firm
• Implement and manage scalable systems for GL, AP, AR, and fixed assets
• Oversee tax compliance and manage external auditors and tax advisors

Required Qualifications

• CPA or equivalent required
• 8+ years of experience, ideally in public accounting and a high-growth startup
• Strong understanding of US GAAP and multi-entity consolidation
• Experience with international operations and audit readiness
• Systems-oriented, with experience in QuickBooks and planning for Netsuite or equivalent
