Senior Insurance Specialist

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Sr PFS Insurance Specialist.

Key Responsibilities

• Collect outstanding Accounts Receivable for assigned payers to meet cash collection goals
• Research payer policies and submit appeals for denied claims or invoices
• Develop and deliver reports to management summarizing payer claim issues and suggesting process improvements

Required Qualifications, Training, and Education

• 4+ years of experience in a clinical laboratory, preferably in genetic billing
• 4+ years of experience with various payers and working Accounts Receivables
• High school diploma plus some college preferred
• Knowledge of CPT codes, medical terminology, and ICD 10 codes
• Experience with Practice Management systems; Xifin experience preferred
