Job Summary
A company is looking for a Trust Accounting Specialist to support financial operations for law firm clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain and reconcile trust (IOLTA) and operating accounts in compliance with state bar rules
- Perform accurate and timely three-way trust reconciliations and manage general ledger entries
- Prepare and deliver accurate financial reports to clients within established deadlines
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3 years of bookkeeping or staff accountant experience, preferably in a legal or professional services environment
- Hands-on experience with trust accounting and IOLTA compliance
- Proficiency in QuickBooks and familiarity with legal billing software
- Proven ability to manage multiple client accounts and meet strict deadlines
- Must reside in one of the specified states: AZ, CO, FL, GA, IL, MD, MI, NC, NJ, NY, PA, TX, VA, or WA
