Senior Accountant

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Accountant to join their finance team.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage the accounts payable process, ensuring timely and accurate processing of invoices and vendor payments
• Contribute to the month-end close process by preparing journal entries, reconciling accounts, and analyzing financial data
• Identify, calculate, and record accruals and prepayments, ensuring compliance with GAAP

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• Minimum of 4 years of progressive accounting experience
• Experience at a Big 4 accounting firm is a significant plus
• Hands-on experience with NetSuite and Coupa is preferred
• Solid understanding of internal controls over financial reporting (SOX) is preferred
