Key Responsibilities
- Conducts outbound calls to clients and healthcare providers to obtain missing or incomplete billing information
- Reviews and interprets client requisitions and supporting documents to validate and update account details
- Identifies and analyzes recurring errors in client submissions, providing education or feedback to improve billing accuracy
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma; Associate's degree preferred
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in medical billing, healthcare administration, or insurance claims processing
- Basic knowledge of billing systems, payer portals, and HIPAA regulations
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
