Brokerage Senior Accountant

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Brokerage Senior Accountant to support financial operations and manage full-cycle accounting responsibilities for an introducing broker.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the general ledger process and ensure timely and accurate financial reporting
• Manage month-end and year-end close processes, including reconciliations and journal entries
• Prepare and review financial statements to ensure compliance with GAAP and regulatory filings

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
• 5+ years of accounting experience, with at least 2 years in a brokerage or financial services organization
• Strong knowledge of general ledger functions, financial reporting, and GAAP
• Proficiency in NetSuite and Microsoft Excel
• Experience with internal controls, audits, and compliance regulations
