CPA Licensed Director of Accounting

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Director of Accounting to lead and scale its accounting function.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead all accounting operations, including GL, AR/AP, payroll, revenue recognition, and equity accounting
• Own and streamline the month-end close process for accuracy, speed, and audit readiness
• Develop and maintain scalable accounting policies and controls aligned with US GAAP and SaaS norms

Required Qualifications

• 8+ years of progressive accounting experience, including SaaS; cybersecurity or AI experience a plus
• CPA required; public accounting background strongly preferred
• Deep understanding of ASC 606, equity compensation, and SaaS-specific accounting nuances
• Experience with AI-augmented pricing models
• Systems thinker with ERP ownership, preferably NetSuite
