Job Summary

A company is looking for a Building Materials Coordinator to manage loose material orders for commercial projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Review plans to identify material requirements and possible substitutions
  • Coordinate material issues with project management, purchasing, and sales staff
  • Maintain detailed records and reports of job information for each project
Required Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or equivalent; AS/BS degree preferred
  • 2+ years of wood construction estimating/coordinating experience required
  • Ability to read and interpret construction documents
  • Broad knowledge of framing materials and practices preferred
  • Experience with estimating/design software and ERP systems
