Job Summary

A company is looking for a Lead, Business Affairs.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee business and legal aspects of content production, including forecasting production costs and processing invoices
• Review creative materials for talent and legal implications, and prepare video talent estimates for production
• Negotiate usage rights for third-party licensing and prepare all related contracts for production

Required Qualifications

• 8+ years of related work experience as a Business Affairs Manager, with 2+ years in a leadership role
• Solid knowledge of SAG, AFTRA, and AFM union contracts
• Thorough understanding of broadcast production and legal clearance issues
• Strong knowledge of copyright, trademark, and licensing law
• Experience managing projects and freelance crews effectively
