Job Summary
A company is looking for a Business Analyst to support the Department of Veterans Affairs in achieving high-priority business goals and strategic technical decisions.
Key Responsibilities
- Translate business processes into requirements and develop communication briefings for VA leadership and stakeholders
- Develop business cases, requirements, use cases, and operational procedures to improve workflows and manage issues for IT applications
- Evaluate applications and IT environments, analyze gaps, and propose recommendations based on best practices and policy decisions
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of professional work experience
- Experience in coordinating, scheduling, and identifying deployment activities
- Experience in identifying scheduling and coordination issues
- Experience coordinating with developers, testers, and site staff to ensure timely completion of projects
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, electronics engineering, or a related technical discipline, or 8 years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree
