Job Summary

A company is looking for a Virtual ASL Interpreter.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide accurate interpretation of spoken language to sign language and vice versa in educational settings
• Support students in general education classrooms, assisting with core subjects
• Work according to the school district's calendar as a 1099 Independent Contractor

Required Qualifications

• Certification by the National Registry of Interpreters of the Deaf or equivalent qualification
• Proof of 48 semester units from an accredited college or university, or an Associate's degree or higher
• Access to a laptop or desktop computer, webcam, headset, and reliable internet
• Participation in a virtual skills demonstration and background check is required
• Prior online interpreting experience is preferred
