Certified Coding Auditor Educator

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Coding Auditor and Provider Educator - Remote.

Key Responsibilities

• Conducts coding audits and reviews medical record documentation for compliance and accuracy
• Develops and delivers educational programs for physicians and clinical staff to improve coding practices
• Assists in the development of internal coding policies and participates in compliance investigations

Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred
• Certified Professional Coder (CPC) and Certified Professional Medical Auditor (CPMA) required
• Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in medical coding, with 3-5 years in auditing and education
• Extensive knowledge of CPT, HCPCS, and ICD-10-CM coding systems and compliance standards
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with Electronic Health Record systems
