Key Responsibilities

• Serve as the lead legal advisor on compliance, regulatory affairs, and consumer lending
• Ensure organizational compliance with relevant regulatory entities and draft various legal agreements
• Monitor legislation and collaborate with teams to integrate legal compliance into business processes

Required Qualifications

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school
• Active membership in the California Bar
• 5+ years of legal experience in fintech, consumer lending, or financial services
• Direct experience with CFPB and banking regulations
• Proven ability to manage legal and regulatory risk in a high-growth environment
