California Licensed Security Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Security Engineer to design and implement security solutions for cloud environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, evaluate, test, implement, and configure security tools and services for cloud workloads, networks, and endpoints
• Collaborate with Product and IT teams to create cohesive security solutions across various environments
• Automate security processes and practices while identifying potential alternatives for security challenges

Required Qualifications

• MS/BS degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field; advanced degree preferred
• Experience with Microsoft Sentinel and knowledge of securing solutions in hybrid cloud environments
• Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, and/or GCP and their security offerings
• Experience with Azure Arc, Microsoft Defender, and Prisma Cloud
• Ability to automate tasks using Powershell, Python, Bash, or Go
