Job Summary
A company is looking for a Sr. Paralegal.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provides substantive paraprofessional and administrative support to litigation counsel
- Drafts and manages legal documents, correspondence, and maintains attorney dockets
- Creates medical records, expense summaries, and may train or mentor incoming paralegals
Required Qualifications:
- Associate degree or paralegal certification, plus four years of related work experience
- Paralegal certification preferred
- Two or more years of law office experience, preferably in civil litigation and workers' compensation
- Familiarity with administrative concepts in the insurance industry
- Comfortable with state and federal rules of civil procedure
