Job Summary

A company is looking for a PAS Insurance Verification II specialist.

Key Responsibilities
  • Verify patient insurance information and confirm payer plans are up to date
  • Collect estimated self-pay balances and assist patients with financial arrangements
  • Coordinate with various departments to ensure accurate insurance verification and authorizations
Required Qualifications
  • High school diploma or GED required; Associate's degree preferred
  • Minimum of 1 year experience in a healthcare or institutional setting
  • Certification in healthcare access or patient account management required upon hire
  • Computer/data entry experience is required
  • Knowledge of patient registration systems and Microsoft Office Suite preferred
