Job Summary

A company is looking for a Medical Risk Adjustment Coder.

Key Responsibilities

• Abstracts diagnosis codes from notes to educate providers and staff on HCC coding
• Prepares targeted education for providers and staff with practice-specific information
• Acts as a coding resource for practices and responds to inquiries in a timely manner

Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED
• Must be a Certified Coding Specialist (CPC only); no other coding certifications accepted
• CRC certification preferred in addition to CPC
• 2-5 years of Risk Adjustment coding experience required
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
