Job Summary

A company is looking for a Medical Coder (Profee).

Key Responsibilities

• Review clinical documentation and assign accurate ICD-10, CPT, and HCPCS codes
• Ensure compliance with coding regulations and collaborate with healthcare providers for accurate documentation
• Perform coding audits and stay current with coding updates and guidelines

Required Qualifications and Education

• High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate's degree preferred
• Certification as a Certified Coding Specialist (CCS) or Certified Professional Coder (CPC) required
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in profee inpatient medical coding preferred
• Demonstrated knowledge of ICD-10, CPT, and HCPCS coding systems
• Proficiency in using coding software and electronic health record (EHR) systems
