Job Summary

A company is looking for a Coder Physician.

Key Responsibilities

• Abstract, code, sequence, and interpret clinical information from various medical records
• Assign correct diagnoses and procedure codes while ensuring accurate sequencing
• Maintain compliance with regulatory and accreditation requirements related to coding

Required Qualifications and Education

• Successful completion of an AAPC or AHIMA-approved Coding Certificate Program
• Minimum of five years of current production coding experience in relevant pro fee
• Strong experience in EM coding
• Experience with Epic software
• Possession of relevant certifications (CPC, COC, CIC, RHIA, RHIT, CCS, and/or CCS-P)
