Certified ProFee Coding Specialist

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Profee Coding Specialist.

Key Responsibilities

• Code multispecialty, professional fee charts and provide coding services to support clients
• Apply ICD-10-CM diagnosis codes and accurately assign diagnosis and procedure codes
• Maintain compliance with coding guidelines and participate in ongoing training and education

Required Qualifications

• Certification through AAPC (CPC or COC) or AHIMA (CCS or CCS-P) is mandatory
• A minimum of 3 years of on-the-job coding experience is required
• Experience with VistA EHR and other relevant systems is necessary
• Must maintain a productivity level and accuracy rate of 95% or higher
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Outlook is required
