Chart Deficiency Analyst

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Chart Deficiency Analyst to review and verify medical record documentation for accuracy and completeness.

Key Responsibilities

• Review and complete assignments in Epic workqueue lists, including analysis of deficiencies and missing documentation
• Research and reassign declined deficiencies to the appropriate provider and ensure proper documentation is completed
• Analyze and verify the accuracy of medical records and finalize account statuses as needed

Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in Health Information Management (HIM) record processing in an acute care setting
• Must meet HIM departmental quality and productivity standards for the most recent 6 months
• All required certifications must be obtained upon hire
• Eligibility restrictions apply for candidates under disciplinary processes
