Chief Actuary

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Chief Actuary to drive actuarial strategy and oversee financial risk analytics.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and evolve the overall actuarial strategy for various program lines
• Oversee enterprise-level financial forecasting, budgeting, and performance monitoring
• Supervise and mentor the actuarial department to build a high-performing team

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, or similar; Master's degree preferred
• Relevant actuarial certification (e.g., FSA; ASA considered for the right candidate) and membership in good standing with the American Academy of Actuaries
• 10+ years of progressive experience in actuarial roles, including 5 years in management
• Proven track record in financial modeling, forecasting, and Medicare bid preparation
• Technical expertise in Excel modeling, SQL, SAS (or equivalent), and analytics tools
