Job Summary

A company is looking for an Interventional Radiology and Cardiac Cath Lab Coder.

Key Responsibilities

• Assign codes for diagnoses, treatments, and procedures according to ICD-10-CM/PCS and AMA CPT guidelines
• Abstract required information from source documentation for entry into electronic medical record systems
• Maintain a coding accuracy rate of 95% or better while meeting client productivity standards

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED
• AHIMA or AAPC coding credential required
• CIRCC credential required
• Three to five years of coding experience in interventional radiology and cardiac cath lab settings
• Able to work independently in a remote setting
