Job Summary

A company is looking for an Interventional Radiology Coder.

Key Responsibilities

• Assign accurate ICD-10-CM and CPT/HCPCS codes for interventional radiology and cardiac cath lab procedures
• Abstract and enter required data into EMR systems, ensuring correct patient disposition and physician attribution
• Maintain a coding accuracy rate of 95% or higher

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED
• Active coding credential from AHIMA or AAPC
• CIRCC certification required
• Minimum 3 years of experience in interventional radiology and cardiac cath lab coding
