Cloud Infrastructure Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Cloud Infrastructure Engineer to design, architect, build, and maintain infrastructure for geospatial data microservices.

Key Responsibilities

• Write Terraform modules, Helm charts, and other IaC to create and maintain cloud resources in AWS and other platforms
• Manage an EKS deploy environment for API engineers to develop and deploy GIS microservices
• Help design and implement the next generation API gateway for network ingress and API management

Required Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of AWS and Kubernetes, with a preference for EKS experience
• Proficiency in common IaC tools, preferably Terraform and Helm
• Broad knowledge of current API best practices and architectures
• Proficiency with container image creation and basic cloud networking
• Experience with CI/CD tools, preferably GitHub Actions
