Job Summary

A company is looking for an Executive Underwriter - Inland Marine.

Key Responsibilities

• Underwrite new and renewal accounts, negotiating prices and terms to meet business targets
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with producers and clients while representing the company externally
• Participate in the development of underwriting strategies and support acquisition and retention of business

Required Qualifications

• A minimum of 7 years' experience in underwriting inland marine business
• In-depth understanding of inland marine products and local insurance markets
• Preferably a bachelor's degree in Risk Management, Insurance, Business Administration, Finance, or Economics
• Ability to analyze complex data and assess risk exposures relevant to the line of business
• Experience with general office applications and willingness to utilize AI tools for efficiency
