Job Summary

A company is looking for a Medical Coder Inpatient.

Key Responsibilities

• Assigns appropriate ICD-10 and PCS codes for medical diagnoses and procedures
• Collaborates with physicians and quality teams to ensure accurate coding
• Enhances coding knowledge through continuing education and literature review

Required Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED
• Coding-related certification from AHIMA or AAPC; CCS Certification preferred
• 1 year of Inpatient coding experience or 3 years of Outpatient coding experience
