Job Summary

A company is looking for a Coder 2 to join their coding team in a fully remote position.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze clinical documentation and assign appropriate diagnosis, procedure, and service codes
• Utilize electronic coding software to ensure accurate coding and optimal reimbursement
• Resolve discrepancies in clinical documentation and provide feedback to providers

Required Qualifications

• Certificate program in Coding or A.A./A.S. in HIM with 1-3 years of healthcare experience
• 1 year of coding experience
• Basic knowledge of Windows-based computer software, including Epic and Microsoft Teams
• Relevant coding certifications such as RHIA, RHIT, CCS, CPC, CCS-P, CPC-H, or COC
