Commercial and Personal Lines Underwriter

Job Summary

A company is looking for an Underwriter.

Key Responsibilities:

• Evaluate and underwrite commercial and personal lines of new and renewal business submissions
• Assess risk characteristics to determine pricing and coverage options
• Maintain compliance with underwriting policies and contribute to the evolution of underwriting strategies

Required Qualifications, Training, and Education:

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in property and casualty insurance
• Strong understanding of personal and commercial lines of insurance preferred
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Insurance, or a related field preferred
• Professional designations (e.g., CPCU, AU, ARM) are a plus
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and comfortable with various technologies
