A company is looking for a Commercial Lines Consultant to coordinate and execute underwriting projects that enhance profitability and corporate strategy.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate strategic underwriting projects and optimize implemented solutions
- Develop and maintain underwriting protocols and collaborate on insurance product enhancements
- Manage cross-functional projects focused on underwriting profitability and communicate project status to stakeholders
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree is strongly preferred
- CPCU or evidence of continuing education in the insurance industry is preferred
- Eight to ten years in the property and casualty industry, including three to five years in underwriting
- Department-level project management experience using formal project management methodology
- Working knowledge of external compliance requirements and insurance department regulations is desirable
