Job Summary

A company is looking for a Commercial Lines Sr. Underwriter to join their Underwriting team.

Key Responsibilities

• Underwrite small to mid-sized commercial accounts and handle more complex risks
• Build and maintain relationships with agents and negotiate terms using consultative sales skills
• Analyze risks, document decisions, and ensure compliance with underwriting guidelines

Required Qualifications, Training, and Education

• 5+ years of underwriting, policy services, or related business experience
• Bachelor's or Associate's degree (or equivalent business experience)
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office; knowledge of reinsurance is a plus
• Industry designations (CPCU, CIC, etc.) preferred
