Communications and Outreach Specialist

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Communications and Outreach Specialist (Home-Based).

Key Responsibilities

• Implement internal/external communication strategies and lead outreach efforts
• Manage and oversee a network of external consultants to support communication campaigns
• Coordinate major external facing campaigns to amplify the voices of persons with disabilities

Required Qualifications, Training, and Education

• Advanced university degree (Master's) in journalism, communications, human rights, or sociology
• Minimum 2 years of relevant work experience in global communications or advocacy
• Proven leadership in implementing high-impact multichannel communication strategies
• Deep knowledge of disability rights, inclusion, and accessibility principles
• Fluency in English; knowledge of another UN language is an asset
