Job Summary

A company is looking for an Alcohol and Drug Abuse Counselor to support members in reducing or eliminating alcohol use through telehealth services.

Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate new members and formulate care plans in collaboration with medical staff
• Facilitate individual coaching sessions and manage a caseload of members, monitoring health outcomes
• Develop new clinical tools and maintain documentation in EMR and billing systems

Required Qualifications

• Certification as an alcohol and drug counselor or equivalent, recognized by IC&RC
• 3-5 years of experience in alcohol use disorder or addiction treatment
• BA/BS and/or MA preferred, with a background in addiction services or related fields
• Experience with EMR systems, Zoom, and telehealth applications
• Knowledge of evidence-based SUD treatment programs and harm reduction models
