CPA Licensed Nonprofit Controller

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Controller, Outsourced Accounting for the Nonprofit Client Industry.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide general advisory services to nonprofit clients regarding financial statements through scheduled remote meetings
• Oversee the client accounting team and ensure deliverables meet expectations while maintaining relationships with CFOs and Finance Directors
• Manage financial reporting accuracy, facilitate audits, and provide technical accounting assistance in accordance with GAAP and Uniform Guidance

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting; CPA preferred
• 8+ years of advanced, hands-on full cycle accounting experience in the nonprofit industry
• Minimum of 3 years supervisory experience
• Federal grant reporting and processing experience required
• Proven project management experience
