CPA Senior Accountant

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Accountant (Remote) to manage critical accounting operations and ensure compliance with relevant standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with the revenue recognition process under ASC 606 and manage deferred revenue
• Lead monthly, quarterly, and year-end financial close processes for accurate reporting
• Prepare complex journal entries and perform balance sheet reconciliations for key accounts

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting
• CPA designation or active CPA candidate preferred
• 4+ years of progressive accounting experience in public accounting and private industry
• Hands-on experience with ASC 606 and ASC 340-40 in a SaaS or subscription-based business
• Strong understanding of U.S. GAAP and financial systems, including NetSuite and Salesforce
