Crash Simulation Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Crash Simulation Engineer to support research in crash safety and human injury biomechanics in a remote environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, design, coordinate, and manage simulation projects to meet client objectives and timelines
• Develop sled finite element models and simulate vehicle impacts
• Perform post-simulation data analysis and provide expert recommendations to clients

Qualifications

• Ability to obtain/maintain Public Trust Clearance in the United States
• Master's degree in engineering (Mechanical, Biomedical, or similar field)
• 2+ years of experience running vehicle crash simulations using LS-DYNA
• Proven experience in post-crash injury analysis and familiarity with FMVSS regulations
• Hands-on experience with tools such as LS-OPT, ANSA, and META
