Job Summary

A company is looking for a Credentialing Quality Specialist to provide support to medical staff departments and related personnel.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate medical staff credentialing file review and analysis, providing assistance for applications
• Ensure timely completion of the application quality review process and draft correspondence as needed
• Maintain an accurate database of physician and allied health information while ensuring confidentiality

Required Qualifications

• One to two years of experience in a hospital medical staff services department
• Strong knowledge of medical terminology, regulatory requirements, and credentialing processes
• Experience with credentialing file review and sensitive interactions with physicians
• Ability to work with common office software and equipment
• Two years of college education and national certification as a Medical Staff Services Professional is preferred
