Cyber Security Analyst II

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Cyber Security Analyst II (Remote).

Key Responsibilities:

• Act as the primary point of escalation for Cyber Security Analyst I technicians and provide coaching
• Create complex detection/correlation rules and perform monitoring for emerging threats
• Investigate and document security breaches, and prepare security reports for customer insights

Required Qualifications:

• Minimum of 2 years' experience in a security analyst role
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience; additional security certifications preferred
• Experience in a Security Operations Center (SOC)
• Understanding of network management principles and systems administration for Windows and Linux
• Working knowledge of firewalls, SIEM, antivirus, and vulnerability scanning concepts
