Job Summary
A company is looking for a Cybersecurity Specialist to manage the Authorization to Operate (ATO) process for Department of Defense and government agency clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and support the full lifecycle of the Risk Management Framework (RMF) process and manage ATO activities
- Develop and maintain security documentation, including System Security Plans and Security Assessment Reports
- Conduct security control assessments to ensure compliance with DOD and government security policies
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent experience
- 7+ years of experience in cybersecurity, specifically with DOD or federal government ATO efforts
- In-depth knowledge of the NIST Risk Management Framework (RMF) in a DOD environment
- Familiarity with cybersecurity tools and technologies, such as vulnerability scanners and GRC platforms
- Experience with specific DOD systems and processes is preferred
