Senior IT DBA Specialist

Job Summary

A company is looking for an IT DBA Specialist Sr to oversee database administration and ensure smooth transitions to new technology.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain the Enterprise database system in a UNIX/NT environment
• Conduct structured testing of database designs and implement policies and procedures for database administration
• Assist with data and database administration, including hardware and software evaluation and installation

Required Qualifications

• Associate degree in a computer-related field with two years of relevant experience; Bachelor's degree preferred
• One year of experience in Enterprise development (Oracle, Progress, or SQL)
• Extensive experience in Oracle performance tuning and database architecture
• Familiarity with high availability configurations such as Oracle RAC and Data Guard
• Experience with performance tuning in other RDBMS platforms like MariaDB, PostgreSQL, and SAP HANA
