IT Audit Lead

Job Summary

A company is looking for an IT Audit Lead to oversee information systems audit functions and contribute to the development of methodologies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform and review planning and execution of IS audits and special projects, including reporting findings to senior management
• Identify opportunities for innovation using data analytics and agile methodologies to enhance audit efficiency
• Build relationships with business and technology leaders to align audit efforts and provide trusted advisory support

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in IT, information systems, finance, or a related field; professional certification such as CISA, CIA, CISSP, or CPA
• At least 5 years of professional experience, including 3+ years in IT auditing and 1+ year supervising staff auditors
• Deep knowledge of IS control and compliance frameworks (e.g., NIST, HITRUST, HIPAA) and experience with SOX or MAR requirements
• Experience auditing in cloud environments and key cybersecurity domains
• Excellent project management skills with a proven ability to manage complex audits and present findings to leadership
