Cybersecurity Training Specialist

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Cybersecurity and Privacy Training Specialist to enhance security awareness through training initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify training needs and develop a comprehensive curriculum for various audiences, ensuring alignment with federal regulations
• Create engaging training content on cybersecurity topics and collaborate with the Digital Media Services team to produce compliant eLearning modules
• Monitor compliance metrics, track training completion rates, and prepare reports to demonstrate the effectiveness of training programs

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
• Minimum of 4 years of experience in developing and delivering cybersecurity or IT-related training, preferably in a federal or regulated environment
• Strong understanding of federal cybersecurity policies and frameworks, including NIST publications
• Experience with Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) tools is a plus
• Demonstrated ability to create clear and engaging instructional content for non-technical audiences
