Data Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Data Engineer with an AWS focus and experience in MongoDB migration.

Key Responsibilities

• Participate in the migration from PostgreSQL/MySQL to MongoDB and build ingestion pipelines for product data
• Own product data ingestion by capturing form fills and metadata, defining schemas, and ensuring safe data loads
• Enable Power BI datasets and implement data quality and observability practices

Required Qualifications

• 3-5+ years of data engineering experience with 3+ years in MongoDB and PostgreSQL/MySQL
• Proven experience in relational to NoSQL database migration in production environments
• Hands-on experience with data ingestion methods including webhooks, streaming, and batch processing
• Strong skills in Power BI, Python, advanced SQL, and Git/CI/CD
• Methodical approach with a very low error tolerance
