Data Governance Specialist

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Data Governance Specialist II to support data governance initiatives and ensure data quality across assigned domains.

Key Responsibilities

• Execute data governance initiatives and monitor data ownership and stewardship structures
• Develop and troubleshoot SQL queries and dashboards while performing data analysis and profiling
• Collaborate with business and IT teams to resolve data quality issues and maintain the data catalog

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a quantitative or business field or equivalent experience
• 2 - 4 years of related experience in data governance or a similar role
• Intermediate knowledge of SQL, Python, or R; experience with BI tools preferred
• Familiarity with data modeling and data lineage concepts
• Experience in clinical data exchanges within healthcare organizations is ideal
