Data Solutions Architect

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Data Solutions Architect to support a Federal Government customer in a remote role.

Key Responsibilities

• Responsible for the overall design and governance of the enterprise data platform
• Define Azure resource architecture, metadata strategy, and data integration patterns to ensure platform scalability and sustainability
• Advise on governance best practices and support long-term alignment with organizational collaboration goals

Required Qualifications

• Must be a US Citizen
• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related technical discipline
• Minimum 8 years of experience in enterprise data architecture, with at least 5 years in cloud-based data platforms (preferably Azure)
• Expert-level knowledge of Azure architecture (Data Lake Gen2, Synapse, Purview, Key Vault)
• Experience designing metadata strategies and data governance models
