Job Summary

A company is looking for a Database Administrator (DBA) to support the backend of a secure VA system for Veterans' health information.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage cloud-hosted databases and support data integrations with external systems
• Ensure smooth operation of backend processes in a high-security environment
• Perform backups, performance monitoring, and manage data in production systems

Required Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in a backend or infrastructure role with databases
• Solid SQL and basic scripting experience (e.g., Python or Bash)
• Experience working in an AWS environment, preferably with LiquidBase
• Familiarity with APIs, data flows, and backend integrations (REST, SOAP, HL7)
• Bachelor's degree
